Information to consider when purchasing a generator

  • What are your power demands (what are you going to run and how much power does it require)
  • Do you require a single or three phase generator?
  • location of the generator – generators can be noisy and produce toxic fumes, remember to ensure the generator is situated in a well ventilated area where thee noise and fumes will not be a disturbance.
  • Are the parts readily available for you generator?
  • Does the company offer you backup and support should you need it?
  • Running everything in your home or business at the same time when there is a power outage costs more money. The more you have on the more diesel, gas or petrol the geneator will use.
